Titans Day 2 Predictions/Projections

Below are 5 players I think would be great fits with the Titans with their 83rd and 100th picks in the 3rd round.

Josh Malone, WR - Tennessee

Of course all the Volunteer fans here in Nashville would love this pick, local guy who went to high school just north of Nashville. Titans need more WR depth, even though they drafted Corey Davis at 5th overall. Good size, hands and speed, I think would be a good addition to the receiving core.

Shaquill Griffin, CB - Central Florida

This is my sleeper here that I love for the Titans. Another depth guy as they already drafted a corner in Jackson, but this guy is a littler bigger, good in press coverage and has great speed with a 4.38 40 at the combine. I think he would be a good combination with Jackson with more size but still the speed to run with elite receivers.

Jeremy Sprinkle, TE - Arkansas

The thing most people know about this guy are his antics at the Belk Bowl, shoplifting extra items on their trip to the store. On the field, this guy is a good blocker and receiver, following in the Delanie Walker mold. Not great at any one trait, but very solid all around player. I know that the Titans steer clear of guys with character issues, for good reason, but this guy would be a great fit and a safe pick based on his play on the field.

Tedric Thompson, S - Colorado

This guy is a playmaker, I see him as Michael Griffin in his prime. Definitely a free safety because of his ball hawking skills, and a good cover safety as well. Not a great tackler, but that's why he can play centerfield and has a great nose for the ball. I believe safety is on the radar for Titans, Thompson could be their guy.

Kendell Beckwith, LB - LSU

Typical middle linebacker here. Ton of production at LSU, this guy was always around the ball making plays. He did tear his ACL toward the end of the year in 2016, so there is risk there. If not for the injury, he is probably a 1st round pick. I think the risk/reward is worth is here, as the Titans could very well get an All-Pro linebacker for years to come.
